Planets and satellites are “built-in”, and the program comes with some 7500 asteroids and comets. Planets with low eccentricities have more circular orbits, while planets Greekdagod music   with a high eccentricities have more elliptical orbits. Planets with the perfect blend of molecular constituents orbiting at just the right distance from the sun enjoy what astronomers call a “Goldilocks” orbit. Planets are found much more commonly around stars like our sun that are rich in iron and other metals, hinting that such elements played an important role in planet formation. Planets, as we noted, move relative to the stars, and they do so, generally, moving from west to east in the sky.


Saturn is the least dense planet; it would float on water. Saturn itself has a rather warm southern pole, and the temperatures in that region suddenly jumped by 3-5 Kelvin degrees. Scientists have found that Saturn’s moon Iapetus is a well-preserved relic from the early Solar System. In ancient times, astronomers accepted as “planets” the seven visible objects that moved across the star field: the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. India uses a naming system based on the Navagraha, which incorporates the seven traditional planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn) and the ascending and descending lunar nodes Rahu and Ketu. Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune are large balls of gases with rings around them. Although Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune are also very massive planets, their gravitational forces are about the same as Earth. The outer planets are large gaseous spheres with rings and include Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. A new model of Saturns icy moon Enceladus may indicate that liquid water is not present on the moon, quelling hopes of finding life there.


Uranus is named for a Greek god. Uranus, Neptune, Earth, Venus, Mars, and Pluto are orders of magnitude less massive. Uranus also has a very faint ring system that we didn’t know existed until the planet was visited by the Voyager spacecraft. [60] Uranus and Neptune, which are smaller, possess rocky cores surrounded by mantles of water, ammonia, methane and other ices. The term “gas giant” fits these planets perfectly — even the smallest, Uranus, weighs in at 15 times the mass of Earth. Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune all have thick atmospheres consisting largely of hydrogen and helium. However, larger planets will be excluded because they may have sufficient gravity to attract a massive hydrogen-helium atmosphere like the gas giants (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune). The planets Uranus, Neptune and Pluto were discovered with telescopes. Rather it came from a mathematical analysis of the deviation of Uranus from its predicted orbit.
